Berghaus bar stools
I was asked by Rock Townsend to design and make a collection of Ash bar stools and low stools for the project they were working on for the Berghaus HQ in Sunderland. There is a theme of recycled climbing rope running through the building for various details. I used rope to strengthen the joints on the stools and as a way of increasing the durability of the footrests. This was an exciting project to be part of, the finished result of the whole redesign of the HQ worked really well.
