the start of a collaboration with Sarah Johnson.
I have been making cutlery from workshop offcuts for a long while now. Using them as experiments for how to best use natural indigo dying on timber seemed to fit perfectly, as you see a broad range of grain variety and they are objects which take a lot of wear and tear.
